Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information JRL Marketing Co. (“JRL,” “we,” “us”) collects through jrlmarketingco.com (the “site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. JRL is a growth and performance marketing company based in the United States that works with sports businesses.

We have tried to keep this short and plain. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].

Information we collect

Information you choose to give us

The site has no account sign-up, contact form, or checkout. We receive personal information from you only when you decide to contact us:

  • Email. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write or attach.
  • Scheduling a call. The “Book a growth call” buttons take you to Calendly, a separate scheduling service. If you book a time, Calendly collects the details you enter there, such as your name, email address, and answers to any booking questions, and shares them with us so we can prepare for and hold the call.
  • Meetings. Growth calls are held on Zoom. Zoom processes the information needed to run the meeting, such as your display name, email address, and audio and video during the call.
  • Social media. If you contact or follow us on Instagram, we see the information your profile and messages make available to us under Instagram’s own settings and policies.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the site and the services that deliver it record some technical information when you visit:

  • Server and security data. IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request.
  • Website usage data. Pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address (such as country or city), how you arrived at the site, and how long pages take to load.
  • Interaction events. Whether a visitor clicks a “Book a growth call” button, our email address, or our Instagram link, and where on the page that link was. These events do not include your name, email address, or anything you type.

We do not use this information to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with information you send us by email or enter when booking a call.

Analytics, cookies, and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include scripts and pixels that send usage information to an analytics or advertising provider. Here is what the site uses, and what it does not.

In use

  • Cloudflare (hosting, delivery, and security). The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes the server and security data described above to deliver pages and to detect and block malicious traffic, and it may set strictly necessary cookies for that security purpose.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics. We use Cloudflare’s privacy-focused analytics to see aggregate figures such as page views, referrers, and page speed. It does not use cookies and is not used to track you across other websites.
  • Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4, or will begin using it shortly after the effective date above, to understand how visitors find and use the site and to measure the interaction events described above. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) that assign a random identifier to your browser, and it collects usage data, device and browser information, and approximate location. Google processes this information on our behalf. You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Not in use today, but may be added later

As of the effective date above, the site does not use advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or remarketing technologies. In the future we may add advertising measurement tools, such as the Google Ads tag or the Meta Pixel, to measure how well our own advertising performs and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. These tools typically use cookies or similar identifiers and share usage data with the provider. If we add any of them, we will update this policy before or when they are turned on, and we will provide any notices or choices the law requires.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Browser privacy features and content blockers that stop analytics scripts will not affect your ability to use the site.

How we use information

  • To respond to your emails and messages.
  • To schedule, prepare for, and hold growth calls, and to follow up afterward.
  • To provide services to businesses that choose to work with us.
  • To understand how the site is used, measure which pages and calls to action are effective, and improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations and keep ordinary business records.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails to people who have not contacted us or asked to hear from us. If you ever receive an email from us that you do not want, reply and tell us and we will stop.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business and the site, and only as needed for them to do that work:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery, security, and analytics.
  • Google: business email (Google Workspace) and Google Analytics 4.
  • Calendly: scheduling.
  • Zoom: video meetings.

Each of these companies handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to information already collected.

The site links to services we do not operate, including Calendly, Zoom, and Instagram. When you follow one of those links, that service’s own privacy policy applies to what you do there. We encourage you to read them:

Data retention

We keep information only as long as we have a reason to:

  • Emails and booking details are kept for as long as needed to respond to you, maintain a working relationship, and keep ordinary business and tax records. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Analytics data is kept in aggregate or pseudonymous form by our analytics providers under the retention settings those services offer, and is deleted or anonymized after that period.
  • Server and security logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time under its own retention practices.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we rely on established providers with their own security programs for hosting, email, scheduling, and meetings. No website, email system, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive personal information, such as financial account numbers or health details, by email.

Children’s privacy

The site is intended for owners and operators of sports businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Your privacy rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal information, such as the right to know what we hold, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, or to opt out of certain uses. Whatever your location, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we have about you;
  • correct information that is wrong;
  • delete information we do not need to keep; or
  • stop contacting you.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Information you gave directly to Calendly, Zoom, or Instagram is also held by those companies; you can contact them directly to exercise your rights with them.

Visitors outside the United States

JRL operates in the United States and the site is intended for U.S. visitors. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site, our tools, or the law changes. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, such as adding advertising technologies, the updated policy will describe it clearly.
